Lorena Milina was born in 1990 in Dubrovnik and spent her childhood on the picturesque island of Korčula.
She started playing violin at the age of eight.
Prof. Boris Krasovac guided her through elementary and high school studies in Dubrovnik.
She completed her music studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb (2014) under the guidance of prof. Borivoj Martinić-Jerčić and prof. Martin Draušnik. She participated an Erasmus programe in Germany State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, in the class of prof. Kolja Lessing. She continued her postgraduate degree in Art (Diplôme de virtuosité, Diplôme de concert) at the prestigious Paris Conservatory ''La Schola Cantorum'' (France) in the class of prof. Violeta Smailović-Huart (2016-2020).
At the moment she started her DMA studies in Sarajevo Music Academy where she recently accepted a position as Senior Assistant for the study of violin.

regional and national competitions and has won numerous awards.
She has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in:
Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Montenegro,
Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, France, Estonia, Poland, Germany and Austria.
Through her education she collaborated with numerous conductors:
Catherine Mackintosh, Alun Francis, Pavle Dešpalj, Mladen Tarbuk, Tomislav Facini, Sigi Feigl, Oswald Sallaberger, Per Borin, Levin Ira, Pavle Zajcev, Dmitrij Kitajenko etc. |
